What's New?
LCELA will have a spring BBQ/ meeting -April 18, Sun. from 12-3pm.  We will have live music, a moonwalk, art table, door prizes, and good BBQ.  Please bring a side or dessert, chairs and outdoor activities.
We have had some vehicle robberies in the area and stolen goods found.  It is very important to keep all your property secure and protected.  Crime seems to be up while the economy is down.  So, we must be very cautious.  Watch for vandalism or any suspicious behavior or vehicles and contact the Williamson County police, 943-1389

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT, PLEASE PAY THE HOA DUES OF $120

The dues are typically due every fall at our fall meeting.  That is when we change the lock on the gate at the lake.   Although, many people did not pay or attend the fall meeting this last November.  Therefore, we urge you to pay your dues now if you have not.   We all need to do our part to keep our neighborhood connected and secure. Please help keep this HOA alive with your generosity.  Just put a check in the mail to the treasurer or drop it off in person.  More contact information below.

Check out the Benefits of Being a Member of the LCELA

LCELA members should feel free to contact the LCELA Board members on any LCELA business. If you have comments on the website, please contact either of the webchiefs

Even if you're not a member of LCELA, you can still enjoy the benefits of the information we have on this website, have a directory, and be apart of our group email.

Neighborhood Directory
Contact Adrian Lee if you want to be added to the directory, have any changes, or need a copy of the directory.

LCELA Group Email

Our neighborhood has a yahoo group account.  This is for sending out messages or notices to all of the neighborhood or at least everyone who gave us their email addresses.  The address is lcela@yahoogroups.com.  You can not send a message to the group unless you are on the group list, and all of the addresses are hidden unless you're a yahoo member.  If you are not on the list or are not sure, please contact the webcheifs or Mark Bolles.

Some people have said that these emails go to their junk folder.  Make sure you have the address saved in your address book.  Also when you reply to an lcela group email, you reply to everyone.  So be careful with your responses.  If you want to reply to just one person, you can hit reply and then change the address to the individual you are directing the message to or hit forward and type in the intended address.  Please reference the directory when you trying to contact certain individuals.  Also please be careful to use the group email for emergencies and important information, not gossip or insults.

LCELA Notices
Road Conditions
Williamson County maintains our roadways.  Please don't hesitate to call them if you have any of the following concerns.  If you find that the road has litter or someone has dumped trash on the side of a road, call the road department at (512) 943-3330 and they will have it picked up. They will also try to find out who dumped the trash on the road or the side of the road, and legal action may be taken.  If you notice a dead animal on the side of the road, please call the road department, and they will get it taken care of as soon as possible.   You must contact the road department before you install a driveway.  They will come out and tell you what size pipe needs to be installed for your driveway. You then need to purchase the pipe and install it yourself, or they will install it for you at $5.00 per foot.  This is important considering all the flooding we've had in the neighborhood lately.  Some culverts need to cleaned or improved and we definitely don't have enough ditches.  We should notify the county of these issues.
Burning Permit
If you want to obtain a burning permit you call the Cedar Park Fire Marshall located at 600 N. Bell Blvd.  Call 401-5200 and talk to Bruce Herms.  It will cost you $35 for a permit

Trash Service

If you have IESI as your trash company, you may want to consider switching to Clawson or calling IESI to see if they will match Clawson's prices.  Clawson is about $10 cheaper a month.

Vandalism
We have had and continue to have vandalism at the Lake Pavilion and in our neighborhood.  Mailboxes have been destroyed, signs have been taken, the lock at the Lake has been cut, and other things. Please keep an eye on any suspicious behavior and call the police if necessary.  If you notice the Lake entrance gate not locked or trash or vandalism at the Lake Pavilion please report it to the Treasurer.  Watch for anyone that might not have permission to be at the Lake, and take special care that your Lake key doesn't fall into the wrong or irresponsible hands.

Commercial Development
The damn improvements have been put on hold.  We will keep you posted on this project.  We have had some lots along CR 180 rezoned to commercial.  There is already a commercial business at 1550 CR 180.  We also know of future plans to widen CR 180 and maybe extend it to Parmer.  There is some new development happening to the west of lakewood tr.  CR 185 may be extended north.  You can visit this site for more information about this development.  http://pecangrovecommercepark.com/
