The
Benefits of Being a Member of LCELA
Lakewood
Country Estates residents enjoy living in a beautiful,
secluded setting that also has convenient access to the
north Austin area. Hopefully, those of us who live here now
realize how special this place is. We must also consider the
value in taking reasonable steps toward protecting and
improving what we now have. A strong Landowner's Association
is vital for this to be accomplished.

Dues
paying members - just $120 a year (that's only ten bucks a month!)- receive a key to the
lake. Go fish. Relax. There are people who would
absolutely love to be where you are ... with a beautiful
39 acre lake less than a minute from your
doorstep!
Safety.
It is important
to know your neighbors so you can be on the lookout for
them, and they for you. By joining LCELA you will get to
know more people here. There is safety in
numbers. Investment.
We all
invest a great deal of our hard earned money into our
homes and land. No investment is maintained without some
form of protection. LCELA is a vehicle for doing this. A
strong association will give us the power to protect home
values. A
Vote.
By joining
LCELA, you get a vote in determining how we operate as an
association. Protection.
The
general liability policy purchased by the association
provides coverage only for dues paying members. This may
help you if you a claim is made for injuries or damages
in certain situations. Peace
of Mind.
We all have
within us a sense of commitment to community. It's not
only part of the American way - it's part of being human.
You can do your part by joining the association. If you
have been a member before and did not see any value, it's
time to consider joining again. There are a lot of new
folks in the neighborhood and there is a new sense that
we can move forward toward improving our neighborhood.
And the dues
are only $120 a year.
