Email Group & Directory

Even if you're not a member of LCELA, you can still enjoy the benefits of the information we have on this website, have a directory, and be apart of our group email.

Neighborhood Directory

Contact the secretary if you want to be added to the directory or have any changes.  We passed out the 2011 directories April 15, contact the secretary if did not receive a copy.

LCELA Group Email

Our neighborhood has a yahoo group account.  This is for sending out messages or notices to all of the neighborhood (that's everyone who gave us their email addresses).  The address is lcela@yahoogroups.com.  You can not send a message to the group unless you are on the group list, and all of the addresses are hidden.  If you are not on the list or are not sure, please contact the webchief. Some people have said that these emails go to their junk folder.  Make sure you have the address saved in your address book.  If you want to reply to just one person, you can hit reply and then change the address to the individual you are directing the message to or hit forward and type in the intended address.  Please reference the directory when you trying to contact certain individuals.

LCELA Group Email Guidelines
The group email is to help inform people of meetings, important information about the association, changes to the neighborhood, and to keep an eye out for each other.  The board helps maintain this email group.  Therefore if someone is violating these guidelines, we will have to remove that person from the email group.
  1. The email should not be used for soliciting businesses.  We have a directory and a website that LCELA members can use to list their business.
  2. When you reply to an LCELA group email, you reply to everyone.  Be polite and politically correct with your emails.
  3. Only use the group email for emergencies and important information.
  4. Direct most of your emails to certain individuals that might be concerned.  There are a lot of issues that can be kept to yourself, discussed in person with neighbors, or directed to a board member instead of the whole neighborhood.
  5. Only reply to the individual that replied to your email (change the email address from lcela to the individual).
