Lakewood Estates Ladies Bunco Group  

Bunco is a fun social dice game.  It is easy to learn, and you can win prizes.  It's a great way to meet people and have a fun evening out.  We are always accepting new players.  We would like to have 12 regular members.  We are still short, but you are welcome to play no matter how often you can play.  If you want to give it a try or want to join call or email Adrian Lee or anyone in the group for more information.  We usually meet once a month on a Friday around 7:00.

Rules
  1. There are not subs in our bunco group at this time.  We just have regular players and occasional players.  Regular players try to come to as many games as possible and MUST host at least once a year.  All players can host.
  2. You must pay $5.00 if you play.  There will be cash prizes given at the end of the game. Except for the "even stevens" bag.
  3. You, as the hostess, must find a replacement hostess if you cannot host or call the captain for help.
  4. The hostess is responsible for sending a bunco reminder one week before bunco via email, mail, or phone call, getting RSVPs via email or phone,  and letting the captain know of any problems that may arise.  It is optional if you want to provide refreshments.  Just let everyone know in the email if you will have refreshments or they need to bring a dish.
  5.  When couples bunco is held usually in October and/or February,couples bring $20 to play and a refreshment.
  6.  Inform the captain when you want to change your status in the group.
  7.  Flyers and calendar updates will be planned for the beginning of every year (Jan.)
  8.  Captain will help with problems, help boost participation, keep calendar, send reminders to players of updates and rules, and confirm host each month and remind them of their responsibilities.
  9.  When you receive an invite, please respond ASAP whether it's yea or nay.  If no response is heard by Wed. before a game the host will call to confirm.
 10.  As a player please try to make efforts to recruit new players or inform captain of possible new players.
 11.  If there is not enough players confirmed by Wed. before a game.  We will either cancel or preferably go to plan B.  Plan B is go to Chili's or an undisclosed place for drinks, appetizers and good company.

Here is the calendar so far.  Please mark your calendars and try to plan on coming as much as you can.  ALL PLAYERS CAN HOST. * Dates are subject to change due to school holidays.  Dates are not set in stone, if you would like to host and you need to change the date to the week before or after just let the captain know of the change.  Also we normally don't meet in Nov. or Dec. because of holiday constraints, but if someone wants to host a girl's night out or bunco game any night of those two months, let the captain know.
